I'll sign this just to find out who santino is and why he is so revered. And I mean that in a sincere 100% sarcasm free way. I don't know much outside of my own little microcosm in RI.

I void the whole contract.
I would not beat my own instructor 100% healthy let alone with a separated soldier. My "fight weight" is 155-170lbs right now Im walking around at 190lbs
Santino on the other hand is training 6 days a week for his BoDog fight.

You guys want to see what Santino is about. Go to his gym and directly challenge him.
Bring an icepack and some Ibuprofin ;)

Here are his MMA Win Stats: Sherdog has him at 14-6
Record 14 - 6 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
Wins 1 (T)KOs (7.14%)
11 Submissions (78.57%)
1 Decisions (7.14%)
1 Other (7.14%)

not to mention Santino is certified crazy, being able to put up with Drew Fickett as one of his main training partners. that dude's psychotic nature rubs off on people i'm sure. plus he was able to overcome Tom's A.D.D. and manged to teach him some bonafide, mad skills! that's got to count for something...

It was his first fight back in 3 years.....Doctors just cleared him to fight again. (its kind of a Sad Story)
Santino was actually on TUF Season 2 when all this happened
see this link for the whole story: http://www.brazilianjiujitsugear.com/forums/showthread.php?p=831#post831

He lost to a BJJ Black Belt named Rodrigo Damn on the undercard of Fedor Lindland fight by RNC.
It was the first of his 3 fight deal with BoDog Fights.

Thats crazy. I am glad everything worked out. Bodogs a decent organization and I have seen some crazy fights on its shows. I have to admit though I miss not seeing elbows on it.

I will be looking for ya Santino!

Quick inside story direct from Santino on this fight...first off he wasn't able to bring his preferred cornerman (lack of a Visa) so he was able to grab one guy that he knew, but this guy wasn't necessarily a well seasoned cornerman. the fight ended in the second round, however all three jusges said they had given the first round to Santino. it was basically a stand up first round that was in his favor. one of the judges asked Santino why he tried to take it to the ground in the second round, since he was winning the stand up war. basically it turns out that after the first round, his corner man told him to "abandon the stand up, it's not working, take it to the ground". so basically his corner misinterpreted the action, gave him not the best advice and he got caught by a solid fighter. it happens to the best of them, but still not bad considering he had been out of action so long. he WILL be back on top soon!
