Have to give you a big thank you for posting that rear choke escape Ari. My buddy and I were fighting and he ended up getting my back and even slipped in the hooks but I remembered to pop my shoulders up, get my chin down and slide my hips down. Cept I couldn't get my left leg out of his hooks so he ended up getting me on my stomach in the turtle positio and I just slipped through his backdoor :) . Even though I didn't get my one leg out of the hooks like it shows in the video the rest still saved my ass. Shortly after that I clinched up and his head was too low so I slipped in a semi tight guiloteen. I then tried to get him in full guard but somehow we ended up on our sides and I only had halfguard. I kept calm and noticed I could push my way into the mount which I did. From there I gave him 3 shots to the side which loosened up his shoulders and then I just got my hooks in (Feet under his legs from the mount) and pushed down my hips to straighten his body and seal the deal. Took him about 3-4 seconds to tap.

Haha I told him awhile back about your fine site. I don't think he cared much for it back then but I think after our match he might take a gander at it again :D . I got a question for you Ari, or anyone else that might know. I managed to get one of my friends to train grappling with me since we don't do enough for my liking in JJ. So I was wanting to know what are some good mats to buy. I wouldn't need many just enough to roll around a bit.
