your thoughts on nick and gomi fight

I thought Nick fought a brilliant fight. His short straight punches beats Gomi's wild swings. It a text book on how to beat a brawler.

This topic still comes up on mma forums. What you guys think about NSAC's decision.

I believe weed numb your pain but dull ur reflex as well. The way Nick fought. He was clam but his reflex was great. I really don't think weed is in play.

There's other side say the broken orbital should hurt like hell but Nick seems not aware of it because of the weed.

I do think NSAC's decision is harsh but Nick knows he will get tested after the fight and he still smoked. He really can't blame anyone for it.

What do you guys think?:)

I am biased as I am against drugs that have a second hand effect (cigarettes, pot). I am also against drugs in a sports setting. While I do not believe Steroids make a skill better I believe it enhances what you have.

Weed in my opinion could have benefitted the pain factor so who knows.

I think a suspension is worthy in drug cases.... especially when the sport is trying to gain mainstream status and respect.

What about the win the took?

It seems lil harsh.. Most other fighters just got the suspension but kept the win.
