Hey guys, I'm on my way out the door for my BJJ class. I'm curious as to what you guys who train in the morning eat prior to class. I'm not normally a breakfast person. But it seems like the things I like to eat for breakfast. (eggs, bacon, jelly donuts) are all things, that would be very bad to eat before going to the gym and rolling. While you're at it. I know that diet is a huge portion of your journey as a bjj player. Your thoughts on nutrition as it relates to BJJ?

Thanks. See you on the mats!

drink a fuze, have a banana, and take a vitamin, the fuze will give you a lot of fluid because it's a pretty big bottle, it has a lot of vitamins and other things in it that are good for you, the banana will give you potasium... this is huge, probably the biggest thing you need for a class (eating wise IMO) if you don't have enough potasium then you will cramp up, and there is nothing worse than getting a cramp when rolling, it can ruin your day... so eat a banana, and a vitamin or multi vitamin will be a good healthy boost for your body
