What is your favorite kimono brand & what weave is it?

For me it's the Bad Boy kimons & they only come in gold weave.

i need sum new gi pants cuz the past several pairs that i owned all got ripped . . . rite up the ass, and patching them up is difficult. After tearing the latest pair and patching it up i think its time i got sum rlly heavy duty stuff, sumthin that wont tear so easily. I saw sum ads for extra wide pants that looked interesting, but they lacked a description. And no my ass is not thatoverly large, but my legs r kinda thick so i guess they get caught in the thigh area and rip at the nearest seam, which happens to b the ass area. Also im not that tall either, only medium height so the only pants that fit tend to hang a bit low in the crotch, i guess that is also a factor.
ao anyways i need a recommendation of sum good brands that r not too expensive and wont tear easily, and preferrably without patches,

Eddie HATES Gis in general :)
All his books on BJJ are based on No Gi Grappling

Koral has been the best for me, its a little pricey but the comfort and quality is def worth it.

I can see Eddies problem with them although Gi's are traditional. The thing Eddie probably doesn't like about them is that they aren't realistic if learning self defense. I mean, how many times will you encounter someone in a street fight or a club who is wearing a Gi?

I picked one up online from Sirius Athletic Wear. The quality is equal to a Koral, but the price is better.

actually i think a gi is a good tool for regular self-defense, if u think about it, there are lotsa ppl who wear business suits which usually include sum kinda coat, that could easily b used like a gi, also jackets and winter coats r similar to wearing a gi

The Sirius gi I have runs a bit small in size (or at least shrinks down). I'm 6'/ 165 lbs. and got an A3. It shrunk smaller than I'd like, espectially the pants which are very heavy duty. I'm used to a roomer gi though. I might go for an A4 next time a shrink it to fit. Hope this helps...

I cant make up my mind between an Atama or a Koral gi. I guess on the good side I have heard nothing but good things about each.
