Local cards

Hey guys, just sitting here getting juiced up to head to the place I work. We're holding our first MMA event at the card room I work at tonight. I was curious if you guys take advantage of the regional/local shows in your areas, and if you do, if the fights are decent? Or just tough guys who wanna bang. What's your take on local cards?

Just take into consideration the organization that is hosting it, the owner of the organization and who the fighters are. Sometimes a good indication is who the refs are...... Herb Dean probably wouldn't ref a crappy organization and also look for celebrity refs (UFC fighters, Pride fighters). They won't put a professional reputation on the line for a crappy promotion.

If tickets are cheap give it a shot.... if it sucks then your not out much.
