Striking edge goes to Rich, Clinch to Okami, Grappling to Okami, who has the strength edge? Okami is supposed to be strong as hell but Rich is pretty damn big. This is a toss up to me but i give a slight edge to Rich. Thoughts everyone?

Im not big on predictions but Im going to have to give the edge to Rich as well. Rich has seen better grappling and his striking is superrior so I think he has the edge here.
I still consider Rich up there with the elite fighters.

Pretty confident Franklin will be well prepared for this fight. Since his loss to Silva I'm pretty sure he will make a big run for another title shot and not take anyone lightly, not that he ever did but think he'll take his fights a step higher this time.

Has anyone else noticed the only grappling Rich ever does is double underhooks and the butterfly guard to get stand up? I know he loves to stand but you'd think he would be a little more dynamic on the ground sometimes. I wonder if he just hates to roll. He's definitely got the standing back up mastered. I've never seen anyone get position on him.

He is MORE than capable on the ground:
His Wins:
Wins 11 (T)KOs (52.38%)
9 Submissions (42.86%)
1 Decisions (4.76%)
I thought Rich's ground game was good during his fight with Jason McDonald. Rich wants to stay with stand up because Swick would have won had he been more aggressive with his punches. Rich is in training w/ Gurgel which has helped with his Jiu-Jitsu.

I did not know that about his wins by submission. I never doubted his ability on the ground. I know I haven't seen him use it is all. I just watched Okamis win over Anderson Silva in ROTR. Rich is gonna eat him alive standing. I agree, Swick had every bit of ability to win that fight.
