avatars?

ok here is how we do it

1. Go to Quick Links and Edit Profile

2. Go to Edit Avatar

3. When you get in there go down when you see to boxes (one will be a website URL and the other will say Browse next to it)

4. If you want to put a picture from a website use the URL box or if you want to use a picture saved onto your CPU then click Browse

5. When you have the correct box filled in go to save changes and there you go you are the owner of a new Avatar


On a side not my personal preferance is to always save the picture you desire and use it the Browse way when using URL it sometimes messes up the picture due to website blocks...

The problem is that many of us cannot see these boxes and such...This is what it looks like for me:

I see its still an issue for many Im not sure if is something I havent enabled I will get in there and go play around again.

There should be a BROWSE tab that allows you to upload a pic.

Did you do something. I can't see the edit avatar link anymore. The BROWSE button is to update the profile picture (which I can do) but I don't think that is the same as the avatar...

Anyways here is what I believe the problem is.....You have it where the user has to have a post count of a certain number to be able to use an avatar ( I know that is how sherdog is run aswell) I dont know if you can change it it may just be a pre built procaution but thats what you have to look for

No I guess that is not it. Must be security rights issue. The rank and file may not get avatars.
