Hey guys-
I have been training hard and my 2nd tourney is this Sunday. I currently weigh 163.4 and I have to weigh 159.9. I only have a few days and need suggestions. I have cut done my eating real low in teh last couple days and have already last about 2 pounds. I am planning on suiting up and sweating out some weight the night before. I have a sweat suit. Will that be enough to lose that weight? Any tips on what I should be eating and when throughout the day?
Also any suggestions on what to eat and drink after weigh ins the day of the tourney to get re energized?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Go the gym when you wake up at 6:30, and do as much cardio as you can. Do the same in the evening.
If you're still overweight, sauna that bitch up. This worked for me losing 4lbs in a day.

i haven't been in a tourney before nor have i cut weight. but 4lbs imo is easy with a couple of days left. try cutting to 158 with a day left so you can just chill & wont be to dehydrated come fight time. i once lost 6 lbs of water weight with 2 hrs of rolling.

Do you weigh in and compete in the same day or 8 hr period?

for rehydrating pedialyte works well, gatorade and some of the sports drink may have too much sugar for you to tolerate larger quantities

i used to wrestle so i know all about the cutting weight stuff. 4lbs in a few days shouldnt be too bad. Do some cardio early in the morning like...ride a bike or run for 30mins to an 1hr. Go Live and work up a really good sweat + work on your pace(stay hydrated but not too much water) until you are within 2lbs or 1lb....rest 10mins tops and repeat. As far as your diet the next few days...salad(chicken if you want)...subway. nothing heavy. thats about it i guess. if u have access to a sauna jump in there
Ok, so its friday and you have about 2.5 days to lose 4 lbs. but I would lose 5 just in case. Do you have the weight to lose? If so, eat fibrous foods that will make you feel full and exercise. Drink water and urinate often. I can lose 4 lbs easily if I just restricted my food to salads, carrots and other things that make me crap alot. Exercise is good if you sweat plus it will burn calories. Try losing 2 lbs a day so you will be within a half pound or so if the scales are bad.

Same day.
Thanks for the replies guys. I'm down to 161.4...not too worried, just gonna keep watching what I eat and try to get down to 158 to be safe.
