Looks like a TKO... My guess from the way the guy is holding his head he experienced a broken eye orbital or concussion... either way ouch and sucks to go dow in that manner.

Yeah, I agree that it looks like he broke something nasty. It's kinda sad to see those things, when people are not out of it, but obviously in a ton of pain. Pretty badass attack, though.

Not quite sure what is technically a KO and what is a TKO but from what I have seen I would consider that a KO because the guy who threw the kick wasn't pulled off of the guy but rather he hit him with the kick and stepped back as he knew he was out. I think a TKO is when the guy is somewhat defensive after a big hit where the ref has to step in and stop it.

You pretty much sumed it up. KO the guy is out for a split second or more and TKO the guy is obviously done and out of it and the ref stops it. I have to agree with Matt that it's to bad when fighters are still there but cant continue cuz they're in pain. I also have to say that besides doing a cartwheel to pass the guard I've only seen it done in capoeira.
