What is your vote for the world's worst MMA fighters....The guys who SHOULD HAVE gotten out long before they did.
My vote: Shannon "the Cannon" Rich (38 - 61 - 0)...who was choked out by a ref after a match:

Some of my least favorite are: Giant silva, who last time I checked is like 1-7. He is just big so people enjoy watching a giant fall. Wayne weams from the last TUF was horrible! Watching him thai kick almost sent me into a diabetic coma!!!
Man, who was that guy on TUF 1..... Jason Thacker I believe.

Mines Mark kerr im sorry i know alot of people like him but damn i think hes the most boring fighter. He just takes a guy down and lays and prays maybe he will throw a hammer fist twice through the whole fight.

I hate Kimbo. When he fought Gannon he would start to lose the fight and Kimbo's crew would jump in and be like "you can't do that shit, its illegal" Gannon should have brought some bigger boys to stand in against Kimbo's corner. Kimbo runs with the wrong crowd and all he is, is a thug. I would LOVE to see him fight a real fighter like Liddell, Rampage, Henderson or even a Brandon Vera. I think GSP would handle him with ease

GSP is very strong, that is just a fact, but nothing against him... i don't think he has the ability to fight in an open weight fight with some one as big as Kimbo, and if he did it would be a stand up fight, because Kimbo is just to big and a little fast so it would be nearly impossible for GSP to take him down
I really don't like Kimbo, and i agree he is a thug, but Rampage was the same before he came into MMA, but he wasn't partner's with a porn producer like Kimbo is, so Rampage wasn't on film in his street fights Pre-MMA.
Another thing is, Kimbo is training pretty hard in MMA since his fight with Ray Mercer... an Olympic boxer, winning a fight against some one like Mercer is not to shabby.
I believe Kimbo is going to fight Tank Abbot pretty soon, who i could beat if i walked around the ring for 30 seconds, then tank would fall down and be out of air, because he is so old and so out of shape.... if Kimbo fights Tank, Kimbo will win allmost guaranteed unless Tank knocks out Kimbo in the first few seconds of the first round
But i do agree with you on a couple people who would just rip Kimbo apart, and they are Chuck Liddell, Dan Henderson, and Rampage Jackson.... If Kimbo jumped in to a fight with any fighters of there caliber, who are all in/around there prime Kimbo would just get utterly dominated
I don't know though, it all depends on if Kimbo works a ton on his ground game and works a lot on take down defense... but even with these, he probably will never reach the level of any light heavy/heavy weights in the UFC, simply because he has to completely alter his style, and he is to old... age wise he is already past his prime, But hey... Look at the UFC's current heavy weight 44 year old Randy Couture:cool:
The only reason I thought GSP could beat Kimbo is because of a few things
-GSP has more experience in the grappling game and could catch him in something like a Kimura like he did Kos.
-GSP has some killer TKD. Not sure if Kimbo has seen a whole lot of possible kicks and back spins that GSP could come at him with.
-In terms of conditioning GSP is quite possibly the best

I am sure Kimbo is improving but your right that Kimbo is probably too set in his ways to change a style that has worked for him. Kimbo beat Mercer with the simplest of submissions and Mercer is a boxer.... not a submission specialist or even a grappler. Kimbo knows this which is why he called out Tank Abbott and not Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, Rampage, Hendo or even someone like Brandon Lee Hinkle

yeah, and i would take a 4 foot tall 85 pound girl over tank abbot, i'd just tell the girl to run around the ring and tank would probably die of cardiac arrest:p
and GSP put on a hell of a show against josh koscheck, and you could tell GSP was just the better fighter, he took kos down on demand, and worked very well on the ground and standing up, and he just completley controlled the fight, there was at no time in the fight a moment were i thought kos might have it, it was a brutally one sided fight
In GSP's fight againt matt "the terra" serra, at the end of the fight... serra said something that may have seemed minor to a lot of people but serra said *new yorkin accent* "yah know... Geowge uhh he's really the fuhchah of the spowt"
and i really thought about that a lot, because... looking at about 8-9 of GSP's fights he has it all, he has strong stand-up, he can wrestle, he knows the submission game, and has submission defense, he is in amazing shape... he never gases out, he has good take down defense, and he is a strong/determined fighter and with all that he's dangerous
When a person known for being a pretty good striker (GSP) can just dominate a 3 time all american wrestler (koscheck) because GSP took down kos 2 times, got side control and just controlled kos, and no one else has done that to kos before
Sean Salmon- he just lost to Jorge Santiago in 24 seconds of rd 1 with a flying knee. He was fighting at 185 too.

How bout Vernon White or the guy Joseph Bochenek. The latter had 10 matches and no wins and only one of those matches lasted more than one minute...

funny thing is that Matt Albright won over Shawn Nolan. Its like getting to tomato cans together and seeing if they make sauce!
I know he won quite a few fights but Bob Sapp is the worst for me. He is twice the size of nearly everyone he fought but once he got hit back he just turns his head & runs then taps or if he was caught is a submission he would never escape, just tap.Definately a giant without a heart well out of proportion!!!

Well I actually have two picks here. First, I think that Emmanuel Yarborough should definately be at the top of that list somewhere. He thought that his sheer size was going to be enough, but his plan was foiled by Kieth Hackney. No skill displayed whatsoever!
The next one would be a tough one for me, because I truly admire his heart. But in all the fights I have seen him in, I have never seen him win. (Not to say that he never does.). Not only that, but he never seemed to mount much offense at all. He always ended up on his back, and more often than not, was beaten and bloodied into a referee stoppage. I never saw him quick though. Of course, I am speaking of Oleg Taktarov.

I think that the worst fighter in RECENT years is Ken Shamrock. He has lost his last five fights by first round TKO's.
He is/was a legend, but he has faded to mediocrity.

Oleg Tagtarov won one of the earlier UFC tournaments beating Tank Abbot in the final of a gruelling match from memory. He was fairly good early on in the piece.

You really think all those guys are the worst of all time? Kimbo's the worst on that list, and he's mediocre, not terrible.
