Yeah, but the question still remains.. How is his health going to be in 10 years. That man takes so much punishment! The double wrist control he is known for is very effective, but he winds up taking so many shots!
But, I still watch his old fights to study his beautiful transitions. Example - Gary Goodridge and the oma plata to triangle was as smooth as I have ever seen. Basic technique, but he makes it looks so easy!
Tom, I've come to the conclusion that you are partial to grapplers over strikers! hahahahah:p

Guilty as charged! did the tattoo give it away!? DAMN THAT THING!:D
For the Record Nogueira can Box & trains with the Cuban Boxing Team on a regular basis...I wonder what the Cage will do to him?

Yes he does.. His standup is awesome...Have you seen that documentary about him training on youtube? It was before the Fedor fight.

But I don't think the cage will have that much of an effect on him.

Eric?!

Im not 100% sure. Cro Cop is all business & limited nerves and it clearly confused him.
Rampage same deal.

I think the fact that the event is so large and on US television may open them up to more nerves & adrenalin dump. Many people who have not seen Pride (Who is MANY from the mainstream) do not even know them so they may feel like they HAVE to do great and therefore massive pressure

I hope Im wrong Nog is my fav heavyweight behind FEDOR!
