Anyone see Vinny's multiple uses of RG during the semi finals?

Pretty cool stuff :)

What was even more interesting was that Mir kept yelling at Elliot to 'grab the foot" when Elliot had London. Obviously MIR has put in some RG reps. Should be interesting to see his fight.

*Minor WEC Spoilers, no results, just positional information*

Earlier tonight on WEC, Akitoshi Tamura was using crackhead control to throw some elbows and palm strikes to the side of the head. He was also using the lockdown, but unfortunately used it defensively and couldn't sweep or attack off of it against the BJJ blackbelt Wagnney Fabiano.

Edit: Also, Mir was one of the commentators on this latest WEC card. I felt he was fairly knowledgeable on the 10th planet system.

I should also point out that SPIKE ruined the surprise with TUF finale in their commercial they aired between the episodes tonight.

WTF? They keep dropping the ball with this!

Just a segue to the TUF. Go "Faint" (Philip Nover) go... I have all the wishes of greatness for you.

Yeah no kidding with Nover, I think that Dana White see HUGE $$$ marketing him in the Phillipines (which apparently the UFC is very popular, that true?).

I don't have Spike, so I was watching on Sportsnet, although it was an EPIC fail because they didn't carry the second episode... looks like I will have to fire up the usenet.

I think in the capital UFC's doing great and he'd be having that much money if he puts on a show in Manila particularly in Araneta Coliseum (remember Thrilla in Manila). As for the other parts of the Philippines MMA is still hanging by some fingers although gaining strenght.

I even think that out of the Thousands here in the place where I am right now I am the only one whose been supporting MMA and UFC in particular to the maximum. Boxing is still the most predominant as we have Manny Pacquiao having the belt but if Nover get's near the belt (HOPEFULLY) I'd be spending money for a very big tarpauline to endorse the match in our town.

Hopefully Vinny submits Bader in much the same fashion... I dont want to see anymore boring fights like the one between Bader and Elliot Marshall, what a snoozer!

I wish the submission would come from anything out of the 10th Planet. It would be a good addition to the 10th Planet historiographer Coach Alder...

I am worried that Vinnys stand-up sucks so bad and he will have trouble taking Bader down that he could end up getting pounded for 3 rounds.

What I was actually amazed at last night was thinking... the first season MW's would get clobbered by these guys. I know they were all small for MW, but man, all of these guys this season looked huge (Bader and Eliot especially).

I think both TUF fights at the finale will be one sided and horrible beatings.... I am talking Danzig vs Speers bad or Florian vs Sanchez bad (BTW, it would be a completely different fight today)

Well, he's had at least one Lesson (http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=Xn6XYIq4Y-Y&e).

I'd agree with you on the Florian/Sanchez rematch...but the Danzig/Speers? Mac would still destroy him.

As for Bader/Vinny....No doubt in my mind Bader will win via lay and pray like most of the wrestlers on TUF do. (No slight on wrestlers Ryan...easy buddy :) ) It's a very boring, albeit sound winning tactic, especially with ref's like Rosenthal not knowing when to stand them back up.

And Novar has been my pic since he fainted. He fainted, and I pointed at the tv and told my buddy, There's your lightweight winner....He's an absolute beast. He's got that crazy look when he is in the cage...honestly....given enough time, I think he would give BJ Penn a run for his money(and I wouldn't say this about anybody because I am such a BJ whore)

I think that Efrain has a good chance to make the fight interesting though, he is a blue chipper as well.

Nog mentioned how that reminded him of Anderson Silva. I 100% agree.

Efrain could win it. Never count out a good wrestler

i think if bader takes vinny down and does what he did agaisnt marshall than he will be in for some trouble as vinny won't just lie there. The other fight, who the fuck knows.
