I have been looking through some of the youtube vids and have been wondering the uses of the double bagger. I can't really figure out when and why to use it. Any help would be appreciated.

Well the most obvious reason is it stops them passing your guard. Basically it's a more secure way of doing it

in making the transition from new york to chill dog, your opponent has an opportunity to roll out of your guard. double bagger prevents this, and has other applications. look for Sean Bollinger (the creator of DB) and Eddie Bravo's three part demonstration on youtube.

Actually in the video Sean said that you can roll out during the kung fu move. Double bagger prevents that.

the fights were online not an hour after they were aired, though. no reason to have not seen them by now.
