I am a new member here, and I really enjoy your site. It is a great thing that you guys do by offering free information to everyone. I was wondering if by chance you could show a flying triangle. Thank you very much

LOL. if he didnt demonstrate a flying armbar then what in the world makes u think he will do a flying triangle? thats what hes got students and stuff for, to demonstrate the techniques so he doesnt have to injure himself doing them, seing as how hes "old" and whatnot now.

Wow...you guys are making feel even older now! Are you just forcing me to show you guys by using reverse psychology?

For all of you that don't know, Dan is the guy who appears in most of the videos with me. He's one of my first students many years back and will be testing for his black belt at the end of Sept!
Dan..we'll see you Sat for the DVD tape session.

I have never seen a flying triangle actually work :p I've seen it demonstrated but it's effectiveness is a bit questionable:o

I have always loved BJJ, but this man (Genki Sudo) turned the game around for me, and its because of him and his transitions into the triangle that make it my favorite move. In honor of him and his glorious triangle, check him out taking on about 6 or 7 different people and watch how many flying tryangles work =)

genki sudo throws a lot of crazy triangles:cool: my favorite is the one he jumps over the guard and gets a mounted triangle
i like genki, he's a very unique fighter, if you've seen any of his entrances or his stance when standing... he loves doing the spinning back fist also :D he's one of my favorite fighters to watch from the entrance to pre-match GO GENKI http://youtube.com/watch?v=uaF2ygKJ38w

I can't believe I didn't know who that guy was before watching those links.
That was quite possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen.

Genki Sudo is a 155er that has retired from K-1. He had a pretty good MMA career. One of the most charismatic fighters to ever bless the ring / cage. Tons of highlights on him on youtube, good stuff.

ok...ok...ok....give me a couple weeks...Aaron's fight is next week, so no filming, then I'm in New Mexico.
I'll do my best to get it up. Not a high percentage move but 'cool' to look at.

I'll let you in on a little secret (don't tell nobody!). I have almost finalized a DVD deal with a company in Hollywood. We are going to produce 3 DVDs in 2008. Submissions 101 is going global!!!!
What I can tell you is that the first one will be called: Earth Bound: What happens when you hit the ground. It will be like my original dvd, the works, but this time I will demonstrate 6 basic positions and a couple of counters (escapses or sweeps) and a couple of Submissions from each position.
It wil provide a solid grounding for those who are new to JJ or those want to get a better understanding of my style of JJ. I'll also talk about JJ, strategies and some other stuff.
More info to follow....shhhhhhhhh
