Last night we had another US vs Canada event here in Michigan and in two separate fights guys used the rubber guard to transition into fight ending submissions.

What is most amazing about seeing that is that Detroit has no 10th planet affiliate. I think the closest affiliate is Chris Herzog in NY, about 5 hours away.

These were not grab the foot sloppy clueless efforts either. These were practiced progressions and while some of the details could have been executed more tightly, there was no mistaking the origins of the effort.

I had the chance to talk to both fighters after their fights and they both are guys with a bjj background and self taught from video on RG.

That is really cool to hear. I'm telling you, 10PJJ is going to go viral once Eddie starts opening up some more affiliates. I am really excited to see if one pops up in the Mid-A close to where I live.

Rubber guard pops out in any places now... I wish I can see Rubber Guard in our country's premier MMA show, URCC... If ever you view some video in it in you tube fight go too idle on the ground most of the time for submission attempts...

The instructor I had said RG has been around forever.... Eddie just found a way to make money off of it.
