Entered my first submission grappling tournament this past weekend. I wanted to acknowledge that my game was deffinately enhanced by the videos sub 101 has made available.

No, definately no nerves. Getting out of the house and rolling is about the equivilent of getting some beers for me at this point. I thought it was well run. It was set up to guarantee you at least 4 matches, which is just great. No weight classes, no experience divisions, really terrific.

I was just in my first as well that was setup the same way. Round robin and at least 3 matches.. if you got a submission you got up and kept going. 1 four minute round.... In keeping with the OP and his intent you're definitely right that Submissions 101 is just about the best thing on the net for detailed video on tactics and RG theory and application....

I would do anything for a submission wrestling tournament in my town. Unfortunately i live in potato country, and everyone has more brawn than brains. That is why i fight MMA. Otherwise i would just do jits.
