Yeah I remember in the email you sent me. I'm the guy that that ordered from the site and don't think it was suppose to go through back in October or November. Think I had one of the first Rep Roots Shirts.

yeah, and you guys went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out .
I'll be doing the NAGA in Rhode Island, it'll be my 3rd tournament.
Roger - NAGA is a kick ass organization, you're going to have a fantastic time. Bring food in your gym bag though, if it draws like the one in CT did you're going to be waiting a while to compete.
Another thing I did to enhance my enjoyment was to register for 2 skill levels for my weight, one higher than I know I am and the one I was supposed to be in. If you win any matches in the "harder" division, great :) ! If you lose, you can rest up and compete where you normally would, but you got a little bit more experience, and the butterflies should be kicked out of your system by then.
Are you doing Gi or No-Gi? Both?

Thanks Roger Im very glad to hear that !!:)
BigDave76 your handle is very familiar either way forget my PM I guess RI is not RIO then my bad. I was trying to help being that I cant spell.
I think your idea about competing 2 belts above is a great one. Maybe not for your first tourney but if you are feeling confident HEY what do ya have to lose!?

No, I said I register for 2 divisions per weight. 1 is higher and 1 is even.
NAGA has its brackets in descending order, so you could register for all 5 skill levels and keep bouncing down until you win a match, then finish that bracket.
I'm white but I start out in blue, if I win, whoo-hoo, if I lose, I go wrestle other whites. I like the challenge, and I try to get as many matches as I can per entrance fee :).

I'll be competing in No Gi and don't know if I should go with the intermediate or beginners level.

Sign up for both.
If you get beaten in your first intermediate match, you can drop down to beginners. There is really no down-side, you never know, you could take the intermediate bracket and be "the man" :).
