Counter to Old School?

A couple of guys at my gym seem to be getting good at sweeping me from half guard. Once they whip up and come to their side, what are some things i can do to escape to side control?

Thanks for the video. Does it still work once they whip up to their side as well? Or does it work better if you beat them to the punch?

Yeah, I got tapped with a sort of Darce when I whipped a guy up. We were in Gi's so he choked me with his own Gi, but it was the same idea. I left my neck out there for him while I was reaching for his leg.

I usually don't mind getting tapped, but that guy was a jerk, and it still miffs me. haha

And to counter the D'arce, there's the Boa and Half Suplex.

In fact, I don't think I even use Old School as much anymore, the Boa = #1 :D
