I haven't posted here in a while, been pretty busy. I thought I would share my latest tournament with you guys. I lost in my second round match (Got taken down fast and put in a weird armbar from judo side control).
I am the guy in the white with ankle supports, lock down forever!

Edit: My opponents team taped this one luckily, I found it looking for some vids from other competitors.

That was a good win. I was waiting for the arm bar from side control... thought the video you posted was going to be that one. Seems like you had a few oppotunites to submit him but had decided from early on you wanted to win on points and play it safe :)

Not sure what you think is weird about that armbar its a common one esp against the turtle. Also Judo side control is the Kesa Getame or scarfhold.

That's a second video of my opponent in the open weight division. I'll describe the armbar... I got taken down and and he forced one of my arms between my legs, straightened his legs and applied pressure with his free arm down onto my arm.

Your right about the submitting thing... I got too tired to attempt the subs and my strongest sub position is having guard, but I found out that over hooks with gi slide off so I had trouble isolating his arm. I gotta work more, which is usually my conclusion from every tournament.

Oh ok, sorry. Sounds like he caught you in a Bow And Arrow armlock. Or at least some variation of that.
