Hey guys,

As a lot of you probably know the trials are currently on for the abu dabhi championships. Found a site that as all the videos from the recent brazilian trials.

My trainer Anthony Perosh won the South Pacific Abu Dabhi trials (both the gi one a few weeks ago and the no gi one last weekend) in the under 99kg division.

My other trainer Elvis Sinosic lost a close match on points. He did compete in the heaviest division (over 99kg) though as him and Anthony didn't want to compete against each other. The bloke he went up against had a big weight advantage over him.

was this guy in the vids and the people he was competing against black belts???

Anthony is a 2nd degree black belt under Carlos Machado. He's competed in abu dabhi before (twice I think). I don't know what belt level the guys he went up against were. I know we had quite a few wrestlers entering the competition.

:) I'll tell him to try to tap the guys out in 30 seconds next time so he looks a bit more impressive.

Actually this one will impress Brandon...

One of the students from our gym won the over 99kg division and has qualifed for abu dabhi. His name is Denis, he is a purple belt from memory.
