okay... so im entering my first grappling tournament... and they banned a lot of stuff that i consider as not harmful submissions... (Twister/Executioner/ etc...)
and now im wondering...
Can i use the DOUCHE BAG/ THE STAKE when im on spider web position and not get disqualified???
cuz both of them work with magic!!! and i feel confident with my Spider Web .... any ideas ? i'd appreciate all your opinion

AFAIK the Douche Bag is legal, still makes you a Douche Bag for using it but legal.
Ask a person sponsering the event or a referee if its allowed.

Most tourneys give a refresher as to what is allowed before the tourney, but like others have said, address a judge beforehand with any specific questions. The twister is not allowed because many view it as a spine attack.

As long as your careful with the Stake and dont kick your opponent it would be legal. In Beginner and Intermediate divisions generally the illegal moves are Neck cranks, spine locks, knee bars, twisting ankle attacks and small joint attacks as well as Slams escapes. Sometimes they make wrist locks illegal. I am betting if you ask about the Douche Bag and The Stake you will have to show them the move since they most likely wont even know what your referring to.

Ya they'll most likely do a refresher. Just so you know, pretty much any tourney that you enter, unless it's Abu Dahbi the twister or any sort of spinal, neck or knee manipulation is illegal. Once you get into advanced div's some knee bars and leg locks ie heel hooks, become legal. Just a tid bit to think about :)
I also found out at the tourney we were at this weekend that the electric chair is ILLEGAL, so make sure you ask about crotch rippers because our guy god disqualified lol :P

Do you mean the stack? Or am I just an uninformed JJJ guy and the Stake is actually a sub?
