I was thinking if this could work. Pushing elbow towards each other in a rectangle fashion?! or more like a rectanle with you hands pointing outwards like a little triangle(gable grip)? A good body triagle for secureness would also help.
ANYBODYsee this utilized anywhere?

or even havin a side ways controll 9 or 3 oclock mount? on your opponent secured with the body triangle.

I'm thinking this would put a tremendous ammount of pressure on the liver if applyed right! The "gable choke?" would just be "icing on the cake." :P

your directions don't make any sense to me, it could be my fault though.

I know the choke as a standing technique. Oleg Taktarov taught it in one of the Sambo tapes. It is OK I guess. It isn't my favorite.

ok i'll have to check out oleg then. :) thanks
This is a silly and over the top presentation but at 1:57 mark is basically the technique I was thinking of.

Personally I don't like it that much I would generally rather someone closer than extend my elbows further out. I'm stronger with my elbows in.
I don't know about from the back, but it sounds similar to a baseball bat choke from the mount or knee on belly. I just trained this last night and it's a very tight choke.
You don't need a body triangle from the top though, just need to move off the mount and get your body up near their head. I probably would only go for it from knee on belly though as it seems to set up pretty easy from there.
