can the instructors now promote their students themselves or did eddie promote them ? i think i read somewhere only eddie can promote people ?

I promoted them. Browns (and I think purples too) can promote up to Blue Belt.

Eddie actually ok these guys to be promoted 6 months ago, and wanted to promote them back then. However per my request, he held off becasue I gave each of them specific skills I wanted them to work on before they were promoted.
