Hey, I like the belt system thing, thats cool. Im sure you might find some people taking it a literally if you have some teenie boppers..LOL I dont know about being called a post whore...:rolleyes: It is kind of funny...:D maybe try like student, instructor, and master or something along those lines. It doesn't matter to me. If its only 29 posts a belt I can't see why people will get upset. I think anything you do people will take a certain way.

Tom, its up to you bro. I like your ideas but I think no matter what you choose you will probably hear one or more of the gripes thought I could imagine hearing.

Im down with the belts. I just dont want people thinking is their "rank" or guests thinking everone has to put what "belt they are" like myself I train No-Gi and don't like the politics behind some of the ranking systems.
Putting a comment next to the belt should do it.

I know this isn't a "big deal" but at the same time it is because I dont like the idea of "ranking" over another I just like something cool for how much you have posted. Make sense...this is not a pissing contest its an MMA forum that is kick back and full of USEFULL info not CHILDISH "Id kick your ass just tell me where to meet!" B.S.




Im going to take some more feedback before I make a final choice.

and over 1000 posts...you should be able to pick your own title. (I've seen that done on forum's like this before...)

I like the Rener to Helio idea. That's great. But I also like the belt idea as well. But you shouldn't make it that easy to go up in belts. Don't make it too hard either.

Yeah but the thing is if you are joining a forum for Brazilian Jui-jitsu then you have to have some kind of clue who the Gracie family is and just by looking at someone's post number and what Gracie they are I think they would be able to pick it up.
