As some of you know I have been working with www.MMAWarehouse.com (Great People!) In a business where you find alot of shady business owners they have been very good to me.
I have spoke with their CEO Mika Casey and decided for now that I would make them the official retailer of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gear.
Soon when you click to buy most of my products it will pull up this:
http://www.mmawarehouse.com/SearchResults.asp?mfg=Brazilian+Jiu+Jitsu+Gear
Some of my specialty products like Belt Shorts, Signed Clothing & Hoodies will remain for sale through my cart.
PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS & INPUT ON THIS GUYS!
I for one and looking forward to working more with Mika his customer service & shipping times/prices are great!

Tom:
This is the next step in the evolution of your company. Having MMAW take on your stuff really gives you more time to devote to your product and furture development. You'll no longer have to truck to the post office to mail stuff off. As you and I both know, running a home based business takes a LOT OF TIME, especially doing the mundane stuff like packaging and mailing.
My suggestions:
Your belt shorts are a great idea. I think lots of no gi guys would love that stuff. I think your shorts rock.
Specaility stuff can be a hard sell from time to time (but everyone should pick up a limited edition Sub 101 tee). Use the website for future ideas and product question. Use your customers as sounding boards (like you are doing) to see what they'd like to see in product.
my 2 cents
cheers
Ari

thx!
I LOVE the belt shorts myself I just need to make more. They are just about sold out completely.
Sub 101 shirt is SICK in my opinion.
Dragon is just cool.
Thx for your input so far guys!:)
This is great for exposure to get the product out there. Everyone MMAwarehouse sponsors is kinda like you are sponsoring them as well as it gets your name out there when someone visits the site. The only downfall is that your only getting your product out there and not your service. You are depending on them for customer service which is what makes or breaks a company. Have you ever thought that instead of selling through mmawarehouse that you put a link onto mmaweekly.com.
I support mmawarehouse and love their product but enjoy your customer service when I have the money to order things. I hope everything works out.
Like Ari said.... this will be great for product development

You make some strong points.
Im the only person to see the inside of the Warehouse. Ive gotten to know Mika well. I would NEVER do this if I didnt have faith in his costumer service.
What do you mean though a banner on MMAWeekly

No worries Tom. I know if you got too many complaints about service you would most def. get to the bottom of it and if your happy with it then it must be good for us customers and fans.
The banner on mmaweekly could possibly be put on at some point and it could have a link to your site and more exposure..... not sure how many people frequent the site but I know I check it a few times a week for updates and several other websites use their fighter rankings for references in articles.
It would be just as good as a fighter wearing your clothes

I can agree with that.
Ive had some top name fighters wear my stuff ON TV including UFC, IFL, Pride, Bodog unless you are on their all the time people hardly notice.
MMAwarehouse has a large and consistant presence there.
I will look more into MMAweekly etc...

Even if you have a banner that says brazilianjiujitsugear found on mmawarehouse.com.
Maybe you could even talk mmawarehouse into going 75/25 on the advertisement

I just wanted to take a second to post over here and say that we're thrilled to become the exclusive retailer for Tom's line. Not only is he a great guy in person and to work with, but there is nothing else like Rep Your Roots on the market. As he said, he was the first person (vendor) to ever visit our warehouse (now we're in a new one) and he had me sold on his product just from his passion behind it.
I've been extremely busy as of late with the move and I'm behind on my e-mails - but I wanted to come over here and express my gratitude and I assure you that we will do our best to deliver the same level of customer service that Tom has delivered so far.

Very cool Mika. Hope my future experience with you is as good as it was with Tom. I have used your service before and I have enjoyed it greatly so this should be a good experience. The bad service I had before was mistaken... it was with Knoxx and not mmawarehouse. Thanks!

I personally think that Toms gear is some of the most comfortable out there. MMAWarehouse picking up his gear is a big step. Remember when Throwdown was only a small company that would barely get a spot in a small grappling magazine every now and then? Look at Throwdown now. I cant wait for Toms company to take off even further.IMO the advantage of great marketing, along with comfortable and functional gear will take the company to unrealistic heights.
