First off, let me say awesome site, videos and forum! I'm new to BJJ (about 3 months) I train twice a week at a school. I'd like to train outside of school also but between work, family, BJJ & going to the gym, its difficult to find time to hook up with someone else to train/drill. Can anyone suggest some good BJJ drills/workouts I can do alone. Or maybe suggest a video/dvd that covers that. Thanks for the help!

Good question. I bet Ari would have some great suggestions for you. When I was in wrestling the only things we really did alone were conditioning drills, practice shooting, stretching for flexibility, sit- outs and explosive stand up from bottom position.

I am sure BJJ is similar with drills. I say just do some conditioning drills, flexibility stretching, shrimping and sprawls

well it is a pain
do you have sandbags (if not you can make one pretty cheaply)
or a heavybag?

if not you can still practice your shot w/out a target (tho that can be slightly disorienting)

do you know what the crab walk thing is?
I'm sorry where I train names are not big for us
it is basically where you are on your hands and feet (not hands and knees) but like squatting down so your real low to the ground
and you alternate like putting one foot forward then pulling it back and putting the other forward but when the foot is forward itis slightly off the ground

do you knwo what I"m talking about? cus that helped my topgame temendously in terms of manuverability
