For about a month now I have been trying to decide which gi to get. Firstly I would like to point out that I pretty much live in the middle of corn fields in Illinois so there is nowhere relatively close for me to go out and check out gis. Our school uses mainly Atama (which I have) a few there have Keiko, and 1 or 2 Korals, and 1 Gameness (that I have seen). So besides people at school, I reach out to you guys for advice as to which Gis are good and which ones to avoid. There are a few that I am interested in that I am not able to see in person, hopefully someone here has some experience with them. First one is a Kikskin Kompetitor, Secondly a Vulkan, lastly a Lucky. Or if anyone has any advice as to what would be a good one to look for I appreciate it. Thanks a ton for the help.

*Edit* Forgot to add Sirius to that list.

Corry:

There are a few website's out there that do reviews of the gi companies. I've seen several gis over the years and they do range in quality. Is there anything wrong with the Atama you have? Or do you just want to try something different? I'll write a review of the gis I've had once my Vulkan arrives.

Stay tuned.
Ari

I like my Atama for the most part, would like a black gi and something that is different from what I already own. Plus its always nice to have more gis so I can train more :D

i also own an atama which i quite like.Ive been checking around for a back up gi and ive decided to go with a paddila&son.Ive heard alot of good things and the price is right(about half of my atama). They also have excellent customer service,if you dont see what you want on the web site email Joe and he will do his best to get you fitted and taken care of.Siruis also has some good deals in their clearance section but doulble check sizing as they seem to run about a size smaller
