I know its Tuesday, but who do yall have this weekend? I'm always wrong with my picks so whoever I pick you probably shouldn't. Anyways, I got Silva, Vera, Burkman, and Bonnar. Let's see how I do.

I like all your picks but Silva. I am going with Franklin by split decision.:D

Im with Dante, and I will go a tad further and say that Silva wins in Rd3.

i have to say that although i think Franklin has all the tools to come back to take his title, i just think mentally he will be gun shy, but hey, can you blame him. Anderson finds his range and forces a stoppage by the third round, so i'm with Ghosted. my heart says Rich, but my head says Anderson. i just wish Dan Henderson would drop dow to his better weight and match up with Silva, Dan has no fear and would take him out, in my opinion...

as for the rest, i hope Vera just embarasses Sylvia, but you can never count that big lug out, i think the loss to Randy opened his eyes to the fact that he needs to step it up...

i think Kid Robinson will take it to Gurgel, i think he is one tough SOB, and after losing to KenFlo, he really put an emphasis on conditioning and should be in better shape...

Bonnar (roid free) to take out Schafer, but it will be tough...

Kalib follows up his impressive win against Leben with another good effort in beating Belcher...

on the undercard, give me Okami, Jensen, Burkman, and Jason Black to bounce back

PEACE OUT YO!!!

Learned the hard way everything is different in there. I look at my vid and am like (wow thats terrible technique on my part. Why did I do that? etc etc... )

On top of that UFC is a very hard place for people who have few or no fights on the big stage.

So for now....Im done picking as well between Shogun and Cro Cop I have really been looking "uncertain" on my "certain" calls.
Just want to enjoy watching let the chips fall where they may. :)

Out of Control,

I like what you're saying, but I guess at least this is one way that I can get in the ring until I actually do it myself.

As for UFC 77, may the best man win.

I just noticed that everyone who takes Anderson to the ground has had decent success. Those that stand with him end up in a puddle of their own blood on the canvas. I think Rich realizes that and I think he will take it to the ground. He has Jorge as a BJJ coach (great ground game but loves to stand for some reason), Militech and Jeremy Horn for grappling (wrestling) so I think Rich will go for subs but win by dec.

Dont forget that Anderson is a BB under the nog brothers, so he is not slouch on the ground he would just rather stand. He bested Lutter on the ground.

I'm only calling 1 fight because it's the one i really care about... the Franklyn vs Silva fight...

i know franklyn has worked harder and will continue to untill 77, BUT i gotta give this fight to silva because he is just such a good precise striker and he can handle franklyn standing or on the ground

but it's going to be Anderson silva win by KO/TKO late in the 2nd round or very early in the 3rd round

Survey question: Would you rather stand with Anderson Silva or try your chances with him on the ground? I would rather grapple with him only because there is more room for error. I don't know though he went out west I wonder if he is working with Jeremy Horn or Militech?

I hope he wins. And those knees would hurt like hell

HAHA. I rather do neither. I would run away very quickly.

fight him on the ground... id poster up and avoid elbows then fall into a deep triangle so he won't hit me then i'd tap fast and celebrate that i didn't get owned too bad:p

This ended up being a pretty nice card I thought. Good all around competition, I just really wish they would have shown the Okami fight.

No you don't. It was the most boring fight of the year. You saw the Sylvia/Vera fight right? Well, that fight was the fight of the year compared to Okami/McDonald.

I'd rather hit Silva with a truck than strike or grapple with him. I think the guy's a class act actually. Well done!

UFC's website has some post fight stuff and Anderson is apologizing to Rich for breaking his nose again, and Rich said it was ok that its their job. It would be damn near impossible to get 2 classier guys in a main event with that much respect for each other.

i am in total agreement, how can any TRUE FAN of mma dislike or boo Silva? too bad you get some knuckleheads that are a bunch of "Johnny Come Lately's" that just see an American versus a Foreigner and want to boo them. i have so much respect for both men, and as sad as i am to see the continued pummeling of Rich, there couldn't be a better representative of a true MMA CHAMPION as Anderson Silva. what a fighter and what a humble man. overall, i enjoyed the fight card.
