Someone gotta be interested in this fight. I know I am. I love rampage but chuck is cool too. It should be a great fight.
I would think rampage will take this one. Last time they meet rampage have no problem fighting standing up and than take chuck to the ground.
What you guys think
Rampage didn't look all that great in his last fight. Either way, Rashad Evans will beat the winner.

I feel Chuck is going to win for many reasons.
1. Rampage was never the same after the 2 Wandy + Shogun fights. Also he "found Jesus" and Im fine with that but its just another example of how he is different now
2. Nerves. He admitted to nerves figh in the UFC and I think there is more to come fighting in a main event at the UFC!
3. Chuck. I believe he is a BETTER fighter now than he was then and that Rampage is worse now.
I can't wait to see win or lose!

Rashad won't even make it past Tito IMO.

I think Chuck is a much better fighter since the last time they met, but I'm gonna go with Rampage on this one. I really don't have a specific explination as to why he will win because we know that Chuck is a superior striker and has amazing takedown defense probably the best in MMA or at least at the top, but I'm going with Jackson.

I didn't catch his last fight. I just heard he won...
It should be a great show tho.. rampage and chuck can both talk some smack.
Chuck just blast Tito and Jenna on his myspace.. It was funny
wow, Tom. No "Rashad doesn't stand a chance" comments. :D
nm I saw it :)

Ahhhhh I hate to say it but I believe you are right he is not the same fighter....However I still want Page to take it

Yeah me too.
Sorry Tom.... huge Rashad fan. Have been ever since Matt Hughes dissed him.:D
King of the Slam baby!!!
Chuck's take down defense is all fine and good, but Rampage doesn't need a deep shot to finish a take down, a good body lock and we're on the ground, IMO.
Rampage has a tough chin and great grappling, I hope Chuck's working on his pummelling. :)

If I remember correctly, there first fight was about 4yrs. ago and in PRIDE no less?! I agree with Tom and that both fighters are different in many ways since then. Chuck is a much better fighter now and he doesn't have to worry about not grabbing the ropes and being a fish out of water. And to be honest, Rampage as much as I like him doesn't stand a chance in this one... I say it doesn't go any further than the 3rd. round if that?!

To Clarify:
I think Rashad is a FORCE in the UFC. I just don't think he is ready for Tito Yet. Gifted, fast, a better striker but not enough experience.
Rampage I am a HUGE fan of myself and I think he has a shot of course but I do not see the fight going his way!

Rampage baby!! I'm goin with the underdog in this one because I honestly think he's gonna do it. All he has to do is get in Chuck's face. Everyone always plays this stand back and give him room bullshit. It allows Iceman to set the pace. When ya press the action though, cut off that reach and cut out his ability to throw those crazy ass punches, he doesn't know what to do. I think Rampage is just the man to do this. WAR RAMPAGE!!:D

Interesting breakdown. The more I think about it the more confused I get about who I think will win. It seems everytime I bet against Liddell he proves me wrong with an over the top performance. Rampage though didn't show what he is capable of against Eastman but maybe he wasn't exposing everything. Who knows? I don't see this being a KO so I think the winner will win by Split Decision.
Tom, your right about Rashad being a force. I have noticed that he pretty much absorbs everything he is taught like a sponge. Quick learner. Notice that when he fights he always uses something new that he picked up and he wins in a different fashion. Bonner-good ol fashion wrestling Lambert- ground and pound strikes and Sean Salmon- head kick. Tito will be his toughest challenge yet but I think Tito is kinda like your analysis of Rampage. I think he has changed. As soon as Tito gets rid of Jenna I think he will get back to his old ways.

Jenna's not goin anywhere, unfortunately. She brings three things to the table that are irresistable. Money, fame, and fresh chocha......I bet Tito sees more ass than a proctologist....trust me, she ain't goin nowhere!! We interviewed him and he actually got all goofy when we asked about her.........

Do u think she is his problem? I am under the impression that he would give up a lot of Big Bear time for her and her events she attends. Also, if she is up there with him then he may not be 100% focused. Remember, he didn't show up to fight Dana on her advice.

Steph Couture is a FAR better wrestler than Rampage and his clinch is better too! Chuck has seen it all babe
In fact Chuck is a 4 year Division 1 Wrestler from St. Louis Obispo a U.C. school.
As far as Fresh Chocha he hit it right on the head!;) And you KNOW THIS Steph!
Remember this pic. Look close and you will find she is in true form even has a PIT STAIN! :p

P.S. You were right about the interview he was talking about her at Oxford etc... but you could tell when she was brought up he was defensive right off the bat!

How can you bet against Chuck at this point? Just look at the list of fighters he has KO'd over the last couple years, most are fighters that have never been KO'd before. I'm a Rampage fan, who isn't? But Chuck has shown he is the top fighter in the world. My prediction is Chuck will KO him, it is just up to Rampage to choose when. If Page comes out agrressive, he will get stopped in the 1st, if not, Chuck will get to him in either the 2nd or 3rd.
Rashaad is very talented. I just think Tito has more of the total package. Tito has better standup, and all around game. Rashaad would be lost on his back, which is where he will end up sooner or later. I think Tito can survive off his back, but Rashaad will be in big trouble. Althoug he is a better thatlete, Tito will win. Just my opinion.
I can respect that but lets look at the ground aspect.... who is the better wrestler? Rashad. So, what is Titos bread and butter? GNP. How will Tito get Rashad to the ground? That will be hard. Tito's standup... yes, he has improved but Forrest Griffin owned his standup.
Titos best bet is to let Rashad take him down and try a reversal and start the GNP.
What do you all think strategy should be?

by the picture i would say no lol..
Im sure she's nice.. but for some reason i just not really into her at all.
not to be judgemental but I couldn't be serious with someone in her profession. When we go out and everyone knows her for her movies and a lot of people have seen her naked and with a giant wang (Not Andy) in her mouth. Too embarassing I think

I think if you really break down the Forrest / Tito fight you will realize that Forrest stayed waaaaaay outside. His shots were not landing consistently. He was hitting air, and when he did land, he got mostly hand and forearm of Tito.
Rashad may be a better amateur wrestler, but not sure he is a better MMA wrestler than Tito. Don't forget, Tito has competed at ADCC and done very well, you under-rating his wrestling. He may not have a D1 college on his resume, but I wouldn't be so quick to give Rashad the edge here. What does Rashad do well on the ground? Subs? GnP? He does take people down, but then what? I think Tito has the edge standing and on the ground.
In Lamberts and Bonnars fights he really didn't try for subs but he did get his hooks in and just wailed on the side of their faces from the back.
Titoortiz.com ADCC record
Opponent Result Technique
Mike Van Arsdale Win Reverse Heel Hook
Rostyslav Borysenko Win Arm Triangle
Rumina Sato Win Ref's Decision
*Matt Hughes Win Points
Ricardo Arona Loss A Very Controversial Decision
* Tito and Hughes fought for 3rd Place.

Can we pause and reflect on how huge the jardine-alexander upset was?
Also, Karo better get a title shot before the end of the summer!

Yes, i believe the Jardine upset deserves some recognition.
Karo will be the next champ....anyone know why most of his fights go to decision?

I think Karo has a tendency to go all out, back off, all out and then back off again. He doesn't as Joe Rogan would say "blow his wad". I noticed he would go in for something and at the slightest challenge back out again.

Hmm.. Karo is real good in that fight. Fights smart.. However, to achieve stardom in the states. I think he need to risk it a little bit. I saw Josh got rocked couple times and swing for the fence. At that time I was shocked that Karo didn't went in for the kill and got a decision. But he fought a smart fight. Congrats to him!
