Hey

Need some advice from someone that has been a bouncer or worked in bars. I run a busy irish pub in Sydney. If someone has a move or technique that is good for waking someone up that has had far too much to drink, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Every now and then I get stuck with an Irishman that just won't wake up. Slap him in the face, push him etc. You just barely get a grunt out of them. Is there some move that you find is good for waking them up? Obviously I don't want to go and put a Kimura on them, I'm sure breaking there shoulder would probably wake them up, just looking for a technique a little more subtle.

Mike:
I've been bouncing for 12 years. How about I do a series for you on escorts, wake ups, restraints for the nigthclub industry?

How's that sound?

cheers
ari

Sounds good. The only wake up technique I've heard off is pinching the ear lobe really hard. Generally doesn't work to well. The bouncers that work for me here are very big tongan guys. They rely more on brute force then any technique. Often here by myself though, so that series would be greatly appreciated!

Ari- I really thought you were going to say to splash water or something on them. Is there any laws against just dragging them to the sidewalk?
