Without Kimura's approval. Judo had its Apocolypse in 1997. The AntiChirst wears a blue gi.

haha, i didnt understand that last sentence. but uchi mata is hardly the easiest throw. takes years longer than most throws to completely master. i had people perfect their basics just before teaching them that

Lots of great ideas and such and thanks. I really feel the way I use my take downs and throws really make my grappling and such way better. I feel that alot of times you can set up good take downs but I really want you all to make sure it is best to not fall down into the guard, I really try to make sure I take the back and really work on exactly those moves to make my grappling better.

The cool thing about judo throws is that a lot of them land you in kesa gatame(judo side control)

I agree for sure im mostly focusing on singles and such making sure people turn the corners and do better take downs that end up having better position placement

A hook up I have been working a lot to set up some Judo-type stuff lately is that overhook / single wrist control setup that the Russian dudes teach on one of their Russian Wrestling video. I'm not much a video guy but I love that movie.

Ah, the old Russian Two on One. I love the control but can rarely keep it for more than a fleeting instant.

BUT, something that's help me (I'm a brittle old weakling), was one of Coach Robinson's tricks. It's a sick little forearm compression from the same tie up. If I knew of a video I'd post it here but I can't think of one off the top of my head.

We use it to set up a near side or undergrip kimura but there are a lot of applications.

You might not ever need it, but if you have problems controling the RTOO (Russian Two On One), you might want to do some digging around for this.
