Hey guys I just got word the the application is on the iStore and now available to download!!!
Just search for "Gi Subs" in the itunes store. One of the black belts(Marcos Torregrosa) from my school is releasing a BJJ app for the iPhone/iPod touch called "Gi Subs 1 - The Chokes". BTW..He has a no-gi instructional coming out on the iPhone/iPod touch next month. Here are some of the techniques for the iPhone application: Any feedback you might have would be appreciated. Thanks Last edited by fightme : 08-14-2009 at 11:42 PM. Reason: The iPhone app has been released. |

Thats freakin awesome!
Nice to see some Jiujitsu on the Iphone/Ipod touch. Don't forget to fill out the "About the members" section so we can get an idea of who you are and what you do!

Cant wait Brandon! Ari, why dont you put submissions 101 App on for the thousands of people like myself that didn't realise we could download it to our handheld devices
Im sure it would still sell very well. I'd buy it for convenience purposes, you have all the materials needed plus it'd be nice to see you make some profit from all your hard work. |

When I saw this it gave me the idea to rip my Serra JJ basics dvd's as well as a few BJJ dvd's I have to my comp and convert them so I can view them on my blackberry. Now I can watch them whenever I want to. Thanks for the post and the idea

Damn, it's tough being an out of touch, electronically challenged dinosaur.
But as far any kind of gei choke is concerned...... Really like them because we always consider the self defense applicatiions. Unless you have to defend yourself at the beach, people are usually wearing SOMETHING over their upper body. We've trained the ones we know (limited compared to you guys) with every concievable article of clothing except for a tuxedo. (None of us own one and it would be wrong to hijack a kid on his way to the prom) Thanks for posting those. Looking forward to trying them out. Especially with students that have an extended wardrobe. ![]() |
